NaNoWriMo
Jumping in with both feet to NaNoWriMo, although a few days behind due to indecision. Please check out the Novels section for some current ideas I have, and comment on my LiveJournal which one you think I should follow through with this month.

Script Frenzy. I failed, hard. It was poor planning and lousy following through on my part. I really like the concept, but I was horrible about doing what I signed up to do, and feel pretty bad about myself right now. I'm going to clean up the page, and get to reading some of the books I bought while I try to make time to write. The family scheduling as it is now just isn't that easy to work with. Sorry I let everyone down that was looking to see me pull through it.

Almost two weeks into the month, and what do I have done on 'Scrapbooks'? Only the same two pages that I had a week ago. I'm thinking of several things, just not taking the time to type them out. Yes, I should be typing that instead of this, but I wanted to share that I just fought through the code tweaking for a couple hours and now have a forum script! Ad-free, text oriented for speed of loading, styled to match the rest of the site, able to shift between a multitude of languages, and have I mentioned ad-free?

During a period of "technical difficulties" at work yesterday, I did a little Googling for writing motivation ideas and chanced upon Script Frenzy. An annual event where they challenge people to write 100 pages in 30 days. They bumped it up two months from last year's, so it starts, well... today! I realize that it's for script writing instead of the novel format that I'm working with, but since there is no physical prizes to win, I figured it would be a good chance to stop spreading my interest over all my works, and focus on one, even for only a month.

Keep watch on the synopsis page for 'Scrapbooks' to stay updated on my progress and other information I make public on it. Feel free to leave commentary on the page throughout the month as the project develops.

Gave a little visual overhaul to the site since I put it up a few days ago, finding that using an iframe based layout made updating pages so much easier. Plus it will allow me to add certain content to the index without having to recall the same scripts over and over on every page like it was doing before.

What you will find on this site is a collection of my personal works, divided up as shown to the left, for you to read and even have the ability to give a 1-5 rating. You also has the option to leave a comment at the bottom of each written work, and I don't mind even if you are negative in your feedback, just please don't spam junk that I have to cleanup.

I hope you enjoy what you read, and if you feel inclined to make your opinion heard, there are other ways besides the comment system, such as using the IM that's built into the contact page or by e-mail which is also listed there.
